NAEEM Private Equity has strong track record in Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) transactions unparalleled in the region. As the sponsor and the initiator of the PIPE ideas, NAEEM co-invests along with its investors using Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).

NAEEM’s PIPE investment team finds opportunities in public listed companies, where investors have mispriced asset values, risks, management weakness or shareholder exits. Our deep bottom up-value approach is complemented by entry and exit strategy, along with a process to hedge risk of investments.

Some of the key highlighted PIPE transactions:

  • Al Watany Bank Egypt– NAEEM and clients had a 20% stake and was sold to National Bank of Kuwait (NBK).
  • Privatization of Sidi Kerir (SKPC) – NAEEM had a 18% stake and was later divested.
  • Egyptian Gulf Bank – NAEEM is holding a 9.98% stake till now.
